Hope Ventures is a private venture capital initiative owned by the government of Bahrain, focused on fostering a nationwide entrepreneurial mindset among local youth. Through access to knowledge, equity, and opportunity, the initiative aims to empower local businesses to launch, grow, and expand.Limefish was engaged to develop the Hope Ventures brand from the ground up during the initiative’s early stages of development. Our scope included brand strategy, positioning, messaging, values, bilingual visual identity design, launch support, animation, website design, social media, and brand applications.
Hope Ventures initially approached us to develop a visual identity. However, after the first briefing, both teams quickly realized that the opportunity extended far beyond design alone. Since the initiative was still in its early stages, many aspects of the vision and mission were unfolding in parallel throughout the process.
As a result, we played an active role in shaping not only the brand itself, but also the way the initiative approached wider strategic and business decisions. The strategy phase included market and audience research, helping position Hope Ventures as a collaborator within Bahrain’s entrepreneurial ecosystem rather than a competing initiative alongside existing entities.

To establish a clear and emotionally resonant foundation, we developed the brand strategy using a range of strategic tools and frameworks centered around ambition, growth, and empowerment through the perspective of Bahraini youth. The strategic direction needed to balance optimism and approachability with the credibility and structure expected from a government-backed initiative. Through market and audience research, we positioned Hope Ventures as a collaborator within Bahrain’s entrepreneurial ecosystem rather than a competing initiative alongside existing entities.
The visual identity balances structure and humanity through the use of a humanist typeface featuring rounded curves alongside organized geometric forms. This contrast reflects both growth and stability, qualities that sit at the core of entrepreneurship and innovation.
The leaf element within the logo symbolizes growth and progress while serving as the foundation for the wider visual language. Its form was extended across the identity system through the development of custom iconography and graphic elements, creating a cohesive and recognizable brand experience across all touchpoints.

The identity system was implemented across a wide range of bilingual touchpoints, including print collateral, website design, social media, animation, and launch materials. Each application was designed to communicate clarity, accessibility, and optimism while maintaining consistency across physical and digital environments.


The resulting brand established Hope Ventures as a recognizable and forward-looking initiative within Bahrain’s entrepreneurial landscape. By combining strategic clarity with an adaptable identity system, the brand helped communicate trust, collaboration, and long-term ambition to emerging entrepreneurs and local businesses alike.
