We’re excited to share our branding project for Calo, a meal plan subscription startup based on each user’s fitness goals and taste. Calo approached Limefish with advice on complete branding identity from logo design to packaging.
As Calo was building their brand, Limefish stood with them every step of the way. We went above and beyond design services - a term that has become one of Calo’s core values. We also have a dedicated designer that continuously provides design services to the meal subscription app. Our proudest moment is when customers appreciate the simplicity and sleekness of branding and sign up because of it.

As Calo was preparing to launch their brand, they approached us with a need for a fresh logo that was simple, eye-catching and unique. We came up with a clean design that gives customers a first impression of the sleek branding style that the startup has implemented throughout all its platforms and packaging.
We took our collaboration to a new level by partnering with Calo to develop guidelines for a branding strategy, which in turn results in strategic and purposeful activities in marketing and design. We had an interactive session where we brainstormed keywords, tone of voice, brand personality, etc. The session was an eye-opening and fun experience on both ends, we all gained a deeper understanding of the company as a brand through discussions, debates and group activities. The outcomes of the session were developing a foundation to the brand, including a positioning statement, persona, voice, archetype and personality.
Together, we delivered the concept of “make healthy easy”. The brand’s values are an important reflection of the company, and we acted as an important creative partner in brainstorming the mission and values. We helped Calo discover their true purpose in serving healthy food, how they contribute to solving problems, and what the core of the brand is.
Calo’s packaging is what people interact with the most, and it makes us happy to see their customers enjoy the designs. We put effort into each packaging and labeling design, and we're excited when we see photos of others enjoying it as well!
Along with the logo, packaging and design we worked on video production services with Calo. The videos were used on social media as well as offline marketing such as elevators, screen banners, etc. We even shot one video on iPhone and it was a success!
Our biggest joy is when we hear that people sign up for Calo because of the packaging and branding. We are excited that we have contributed in a positive way to their success. We continuously provide design services for Calo and update their packaging seasonally.
